Nexon Games Selected as 'Korea's Top Job Creator' for Two Consecutive Years
2023 Year Workforce Size Grows by 22%
Nexon Games announced on the 6th that it has been selected as a ‘Korea’s Best Job Creator’ for two consecutive years, an award organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The ‘Korea’s Best Job Creator’ is a certification system by the Ministry of Employment and Labor that recognizes private companies leading in creating quality jobs and improving job quality. Nexon Games received high evaluations for ▲creating jobs for youth ▲improving working conditions ▲strengthening welfare systems for work-life balance.
Throughout 2023, Nexon Games actively recruited talent to strengthen its development capabilities, resulting in a workforce increase of approximately 22% compared to the previous year. Notably, 63% of the newly hired employees were young people, showing active efforts in youth employment.
Since 2021, Nexon Games has recruited interns annually through the hiring-type internship program ‘Nektorial,’ converting all talents who passed a separate evaluation verifying their abilities and qualifications into full-time employees. This year, the company continues its large-scale recruitment policy and plans to conduct ongoing recruitment for Nektorial as well as for entry-level and experienced positions in the second half of the year.
Efforts are also being made to improve job quality. By utilizing a flexible working hours system, Nexon Games provides an environment where employees can work flexibly. Additionally, welfare systems that promote work-life balance have been enhanced, including increased long-term service leave allowances and expanded support for leisure facilities and recreational activities.
