InnoBiz Association Supports Digital Transformation in El Salvador
El Salvador 4th Industrial System Innovation Capacity Building Local Officials Invitation Training
The InnoBiz Association (Korea Technology Innovation Association for SMEs) announced that it conducted the "El Salvador 4th Industrial Revolution System Innovation Capacity Building Invitation Training" from the 25th of last month to the 6th.

This training was held as part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Global Training Program and involved 16 participants, including public officials from the Ministry of Economy of El Salvador (MINEC) and the National Small and Medium Enterprise Committee (CONAMPYE). It was the first-year training under the three-year (2024?2026) "El Salvador 4th Industrial Revolution System Innovation Capacity Building Training Project."
The invitation training consisted of theoretical lectures on △ the Korean government's digital transformation promotion policies and support programs △ smart factory introduction and technology types △ understanding ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and 50001 (Energy Management System) for ESG management. Additionally, on-site visits were conducted to JIN Corporation’s demo factory, a smart factory solution specialist company, and the Smart Factory Learning Center at Ansan Small and Medium Venture Business Training Institute.
Jung Kwang-cheon, President of the InnoBiz Association, stated, "This training is being promoted to transfer Korea’s 4th Industrial Revolution system, led by InnoBiz companies, to El Salvador," adding, "I hope this first-year training will serve as a foundation for establishing El Salvador-type 4th Industrial Revolution system transition policies."

Jaime Jose, Ambassador of El Salvador to Korea, who also participated in the completion ceremony, said, "Thank you for operating this training for the industrial development of El Salvador," and added, "We will support not only the second and third-year trainings to be conducted in the future but also the development of this project into a larger initiative."
