Porsche Driver in His 20s Arrested for Fatal Wrong-Way Crash While Drunk

A driver in his 20s was arrested after causing a fatal accident while driving in the wrong direction under the influence of alcohol.
According to the Geoje Police Station in Gyeongnam, at around 1:38 a.m. on the 5th, a Porsche sedan crossed the center line and drove in the wrong direction on a one-way, single-lane road in Gohyeon-dong, Geoje City, colliding with an oncoming motorcycle.
As a result of the accident, a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, who was driving the motorcycle, died, and the Porsche driver, identified as Mr. B in his 20s, was arrested at the scene.
At the time, Mr. B was found to have a blood alcohol concentration at the level for license suspension.
The police have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. B and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
