Salgu Village (Guro 2-dong 429) is located next to Korea University Guro Hospital, and Neoreunteul Village (Gaebong 3-dong 288-7) is near the KT Gaebong branch.
The Human Town 2.0 project supports individual maintenance such as new construction and remodeling of aging multi-family, multi-unit, and row houses, rather than redevelopment or reconstruction through complete demolition. It aims to ease building regulations in low-rise residential areas where redevelopment is difficult due to legal constraints and to install infrastructure and convenience facilities. These target areas will be added to the Human Town 2.0 pilot project this time.

The approved maintenance plan was prepared through legal procedures including residents' proposals and consent regarding residential environment issues such as aging houses, alleyway garbage, and lack of parking spaces. The city will support the expansion of infrastructure and shared facilities through environmental preservation, disaster prevention, and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). After being designated as a Human Town 2.0 pilot project, interest and tax benefits will be provided, and project feasibility will be enhanced through new construction purchase lease agreements.
