Yang Jaesaeng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is set to embark on a full-scale field visit to strengthen on-site communication with member companies and to develop concrete solutions for business challenges.
On the 4th, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that Chairman Yang Jaesaeng, in his capacity as Corporate Support Communication Officer, visited HJ Heavy Industries (CEO Yoo Sangcheol) along with officials dispatched from the Busan Metropolitan Government, including the Corporate Policy Cooperation Officer, for a site tour and a roundtable discussion.
This visit was a follow-up measure to Chairman Yang Jaesaeng's expressed commitment to increase points of contact with member companies during the ceremony on the 2nd, when the Busan One-Stop Corporate Support Center was expanded and relocated to the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With Chairman Yang Jaesaeng personally taking on the role of Corporate Support Communication Officer and accompanied by the Corporate Policy Cooperation Officer from Busan City, who is on assignment at the Chamber, the initiative is expected to enhance execution in resolving business difficulties and to draw out effective municipal support.
During the roundtable, HJ Heavy Industries conveyed its pressing issues, such as the need to expand the issuance limit for Refund Guarantees (RG) for mid-sized shipbuilders and requests for reductions in shared water area usage fees. In response, the Chamber plans to derive concrete solutions through its newly established business difficulty resolution system.

The Corporate Policy Cooperation Officer from Busan City will participate in the entire process of resolving business difficulties at the Chamber, ensuring that on-site issues faced by companies are reflected in municipal policies.
Starting with this visit, the Chamber plans to continuously visit outstanding member companies through the Corporate Support Communication Officer system. In addition to resolving business challenges, the Chamber will actively collaborate with Busan City through the Corporate Policy Cooperation Officer to provide customized support for securing future corporate competitiveness, including ▲corporate restructuring and innovation support ▲discovering support measures for digital and advanced future new businesses ▲raising awareness for ESG management, and more.
