Joint Housing Fire Safety and Crime Prevention Training at District Office on the 6th
Recruitment for Electric Vehicle Fire Response Management Support Project Until the 13th of This Month
Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) is taking steps to provide fire safety education and support fire safety facilities to respond to electric vehicle fires in apartment complexes within the district.
The purpose is to enhance the self-safety management capabilities of apartment complex management entities and support the management of common facilities in apartment complexes to create a pleasant and safe residential environment.
The fire safety education will be held on the 6th at the Yongsan-gu Office main conference room for about 80 people, including security managers of apartment complexes, facility safety managers, and heads of management offices. Crime prevention education will also be conducted on the same day.
To ensure effective education, practical expert instructors from the Yongsan Fire Station and the Korea Security Guards Association have been invited. The program is divided into Part 1 fire education and Part 2 crime prevention education, each lasting two hours.
In Part 1 fire education, participants will learn ▲electric vehicle fire response action guidelines in apartment complexes ▲fire prevention and evacuation guidelines in apartment complexes ▲how to use firefighting equipment ▲emergency treatment methods such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of automated external defibrillators.
Part 2 crime prevention education will focus on practical cases including ▲major crime types and prevention measures in apartment complexes ▲key duties of apartment complex security ▲important information security managers should know.
Support for fire response safety facilities for electric vehicles is promoted as part of the apartment complex management support project. This project provides partial funding necessary for maintenance, repair, and safety management of common facilities in apartment complexes.
In the second half of this year, with a budget of 18 million KRW, the focus will be on supporting the installation of fire response safety facilities for electric vehicles and convenience facilities projects for marginalized groups such as the disabled and elderly.
Eligible applicants are apartment complexes with 30 or more households in the district, with priority given to complexes not supported in the first half of the year and small-scale apartment complexes with limited finances. If selected for the support project, up to 70% of the total project cost can be funded.
Applications must be submitted by the 13th via one of the following methods: email, registered mail, or visiting the Housing Division in person with the required documents. Application forms can be downloaded from the district office website.
Application results will be individually notified after review by the Yongsan-gu Apartment Complex Support Deliberation Committee within this month.
