The Bank of Korea and Financial Supervisory Service to Conduct 2024 Nationwide Financial Literacy Survey
The Bank of Korea and the Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 1st that they plan to conduct a 'National Financial Literacy Survey' targeting 2,400 households nationwide from the 2nd to November 1st.
This survey aims to measure the financial literacy level of Korean adults (aged 18 to 79) based on the standards established by INFE (International Network on Financial Education), an economic and financial education cooperation organization under the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development).
The survey will be conducted through one-on-one interviews by professional investigators from the Korea Gallup Survey Institute, who will visit households in person to cover a total of 51 questions related to financial knowledge, financial behavior, and financial attitudes.

The survey results are expected to be announced in the first quarter of next year.
