BNK Gyeongnam Bank Signs Business Agreement with Masan Senior Club for Voice Phishing Prevention Education Support
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 30th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for Supporting Voice Phishing Prevention Education" with the Masan Senior Club.

View original imageThe signing ceremony, held in the main office conference room, was attended by Executive Director Park Doohee, Chief Consumer Officer (CCO) in charge of financial consumer protection, and Park Youngwon, Director of the Masan Senior Club, among others.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will jointly plan and operate financial education programs to prevent voice phishing damages among financially vulnerable groups.
In particular, BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to create and provide specialized financial education materials to help local seniors easily recognize voice phishing and take immediate action in case of damage.
After the signing ceremony, BNK Gyeongnam Bank provided cup holders engraved with voice phishing prevention messages and reporting phone numbers to "Cafe Ari," which is operated as a senior job creation project by the Masan Senior Club.
Executive Director Park Doohee, Chief Consumer Officer, said, "The Masan Senior Club is the organization that supports the most senior jobs in Changwon, and many local seniors use its services. We have signed this agreement as part of our commitment to inclusive finance so that seniors can avoid voice phishing damages and enjoy a better life. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to provide various financial education programs to seniors and other financially vulnerable groups."
Meanwhile, in August 2022, BNK Gyeongnam Bank opened the "Cafe Ari" silver cafe on the first floor of its headquarters branch to support local senior job creation projects.
At Cafe Ari, located within the branch, members of the Masan Senior Club work and coffee and beverages are sold at affordable prices.
