Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, Attracting Outstanding Overseas Vocational High School Students
Goal to Open Glocal Vocational Schools in March 2028
Recruiting 72 Students at 5 Schools...System Improvements Planned
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 29th that it will recruit overseas students to existing vocational high schools for preliminary operation ahead of the establishment of Jeonnam Glocal Vocational High School in 2028.
This is to reduce confusion at schools caused by the establishment of the Glocal Vocational High School targeting overseas students and students with migration backgrounds, and to supplement institutional shortcomings.
According to the Provincial Office of Education, to prevent regional extinction and meet the demand for industrial manpower, the 'Jeonnam Glocal Vocational High School' targeting multicultural students and overseas students is being promoted with the goal of opening in March 2028.
