Busan Port Authority Holds Joint Campaign to Prevent Cargo Truck Traffic Accidents
Busan Port Authority (President Kang Junseok, BPA) conducted a joint traffic accident prevention campaign for cargo truck drivers in cooperation with related organizations on the 29th, around the entrance gate area of Sinseondae Terminal at the North Port of Busan.

View original imageThe campaign was joined by Busan Nambu Police Station, the Busan branch of the Korea Trucking Mutual Aid Association, Busan Port Terminal, and the Mothers for Traffic Safety Association.
The participating organizations hung banners promoting safe driving and distributed rear reflective tapes and other materials to container truck drivers, urging them to comply with traffic signals and avoid the "three excesses" (overloading, speeding, and overwork) to help prevent accidents.
BPA's Head of Operations, Hong Seongjun, said, "We will continue to carry out joint safety campaigns with related organizations in areas of Busan Port with a high risk of traffic accidents to create a safer, accident-free Busan Port."
