Hyundai Elevator Strengthens Heatwave Safety Management Activities
Hyundai Elevator announced on the 27th that it has strengthened safety management activities at elevator installation, attraction, and maintenance sites nationwide. Safety management guidelines for preventing heat-related accidents were distributed to 16 branch offices and over 50 centers across the country. Workers were urged to follow basic rules such as taking sufficient rest and staying hydrated. Health conditions were monitored before and after work. If workers requested to stop work due to concerns about heat-related illnesses, site supervisors were instructed to take immediate and appropriate measures. Employees also shared information on symptom checks, consciousness verification, and response methods to be prepared for emergencies. Cooling towels and helmet liners were distributed to executives and staff at each site. Weekly and monthly safety meetings were held at each branch office.
