Coupang is helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners who wish to expand overseas.
On the 27th, Coupang announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the "Large, Medium, and Small Enterprise Joint Overseas Expansion Support Project." This project is supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and was established to assist SMEs that have the capability to expand overseas but lack the resources.

Through this project, Coupang will utilize the budget received and its own logistics infrastructure to support the overseas expansion of SMEs and small business owners. Companies wishing to participate can apply through the Sangsaengnuri website by September 6. Selected companies will be announced around mid-September.
Coupang will support the selected companies by the end of this year in registering and exposing their products on the Coupang app in Taiwan to facilitate local sales. To promote sales, Coupang will run banner advertisements within the Taiwan Coupang app and conduct various promotions and marketing targeting local customers in Taiwan, including social media (SNS) marketing using Taiwanese influencers. Coupang will also cover various expenses incurred during the transfer from domestic locations to overseas logistics centers.
Additionally, to maximize sales, individual consulting will be provided on ▲product selection based on local trend analysis ▲various matters necessary for local customs clearance and sales.
A Coupang representative said, "For SMEs, entering overseas markets has been challenging due to high entry barriers such as understanding local trends, manpower, customs clearance, and delivery. We hope this opportunity will provide domestic small business owners with a new chance for growth. Coupang will continue to strive to discover momentum for mutual growth with small business owners."
