Samsung Electronics Launches Home Projectors 'The Premiere 9·7'
Release of Type 2 on the 1st of Next Month
Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that it will launch two types of the 2024 premium home projectors, 'The Premiere,' on the 1st of next month.
The new products, The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7, combine ▲clear 4K resolution ▲immersive sound ▲smart features to deliver a premium home cinema experience.
The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 can expand the screen size up to 130 inches and 120 inches, respectively. Equipped with ultra-short throw technology, they can be installed in front of a wall without a complicated installation process.

View original imageThe Premiere 9 supports triple laser technology with a maximum brightness of 3450 ISO lumens. The Premiere 7 supports single laser technology with a maximum brightness of 2500 ISO lumens. The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 reproduce up to 154% and 100% of colors based on DCI-P3 standards, respectively, and both models support HDR10+ to deliver clear and vivid picture quality even in bright environments.
Equipped with AI upscaling and Vision Booster technology, they also provide perfect image quality. The AI upscaling technology upscales any existing image quality to 4K resolution, while Vision Booster automatically adjusts color and contrast according to the surrounding lighting environment to achieve optimal picture quality.
Built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos technology provide an excellent audio experience without the need for separate audio devices. The Premiere 9 features 40W 2.2.2 channel up-firing speakers, and The Premiere 7 is equipped with 30W 2.2 channel speakers.
The Premiere runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS, offering a wide range of streaming services such as Samsung TV Plus, Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. It also supports Samsung Gaming Hub, allowing users to enjoy cloud-based games without additional devices.
Additionally, the Custom Ambient feature projects various design elements onto the wall, enabling personalized home interior decoration. Through the SmartThings app on a smartphone, users can freely combine photos, videos, and widgets to create a unique space.
Moreover, the SmartThings feature allows integration with lighting, temperature control devices, and security systems to create a perfect smart home environment.
The retail prices for The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 are 7.49 million KRW and 4.49 million KRW, respectively. The 2024 model of The Premiere will also be showcased at 'IFA 2024,' Europe’s largest electronics exhibition held in Berlin, Germany.
