Scheduled to open on September 1, Daejeon Dungok Integrated Elementary and Middle School is the first integrated kindergarten, elementary, and middle school in Daejeon. The school plans to offer a variety of educational programs to support the holistic growth of students according to their developmental stages.
Chairperson Lee thoroughly checked the completion status of the school building, the readiness of educational equipment, and the safety of student commuting routes. In particular, she focused on ensuring that an environment has been created where students can learn safely.
She also visited the construction site of the Gapcheon Social Baseball Field, listened to civil complaints related to the construction, and urged active communication with local residents.
Chairperson Lee Geumseon stated, "All preparations must be thoroughly made so that students and parents can start school life with peace of mind," and added, "I will continue to take the lead in resolving local issues through active communication with residents."
