Gyeonggi Regional Center Supports Development, Production, and Sales Channels for SMEs in Eastern Gyeonggi Area... Up to 20 Million KRW per Company
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting participating companies for the ‘2024 Eastern Region Small and Medium Enterprise Development, Production, and Sales Customized Support Project’ until the 6th of next month.
This project is jointly hosted by five cities and counties in the Eastern Region and is designed to revitalize the local economy by enhancing the technological capabilities, increasing sales, and creating jobs for small and medium enterprises in the Eastern Region.
The support target is small and medium enterprises in the five cities and counties of the Eastern Region of Gyeonggi-do with annual sales of 12 billion KRW or less as of the announcement date. The agency will select 200 companies and provide 700 million KRW in project funds.
The main support areas include ▲Idea development (domestic and international industrial property rights application, domestic and international certification support, industrial technology information) ▲Product production (prototype manufacturing, testing and analysis) ▲Market development (website creation support, participation in domestic and international exhibitions, product packaging, domestic promotional sales support), etc. Depending on the category, companies can receive up to 20 million KRW per company.

Jung Kwang-yong, Head of the Balanced Opportunity Division at the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, stated, "This project supports the essential elements needed throughout the development, production, and marketing processes of small and medium enterprises in the Eastern Region of Gyeonggi-do," adding, "The goal is to increase synergy among companies and create a positive ripple effect on the local economy."
