Hana Securities analyzed on the 26th that Seeas Technology will begin full-scale growth through entry into the KMI Medical Examination Center.
Kim Doohyun, a researcher at Hana Securities, explained, "Seeas Technology provides hospitals with a subscription product that combines wearable devices and artificial intelligence (AI) for electrocardiogram analysis and remote patient monitoring solutions."
He added, "Recently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, infectious disease outbreaks, and medical vacancies caused by the departure of residents, demand for verified remote medical solutions has surged."
He emphasized, "Seeas Technology’s ‘thynC’ has already proven its versatility in various wards such as cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and oncology," and "Currently, it is conducting demonstrations beyond remote medical care, including home patient monitoring and remote collaborative treatment."
Researcher Kim forecasted, "This is a time when the need for reliable remote medical solutions at reasonable costs is highlighted," and "We expect differentiated benefits for Seeas Technology, which has proven equivalence with global standard products."
He explained, "Seeas Technology was recognized for its strength in real-time biometric data transmission and diagnostic superiority in the ‘arrhythmia screening service’ for health checkup examinees," and "In February, it entered the health checkup market by signing supply contracts with KMI Korea Medical Institute and, in July, with the Health Management Association, becoming the first wearable diagnostic company to do so." He added, "Although the health checkup business is in its initial stage, the number of examinees continues to increase as the installation rates of medical equipment, network equipment, server systems, and wearable medical devices at each health checkup center rise." He emphasized, "It is estimated that annual sales exceeding 30 billion KRW are possible in health checkups," and "Recently, as electrocardiogram tests have been designated as essential items in the adequacy evaluation of hypertension and diabetes patients, the number of hospitals adopting them is rapidly increasing."
