Geumcheon-gu Signs Business Agreement to Protect Workers' Rights
Strengthening Collaboration with Related Organizations to Safeguard Workers' Rights and Enhance Welfare
Accelerating Discovery of Worker Support Projects through Various Educational Support and Resource Linkage by Each Institution
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on the 23rd that it signed a business agreement at the Geumcheon-gu Labor Comprehensive Support Center with the Seoul Workers' Health Center, Seoul Southwest Workplace Mom Support Center, and Seoul Youth Center Geumcheon.
This agreement was established to protect the rights and interests of workers in Geumcheon-gu and G-Valley, and to provide practical support such as labor counseling and educational assistance to workers.
At the signing ceremony, the Director of Planning and Economy of Geumcheon-gu, Jeong Choi Kyung-hee, Director of Seoul Workers' Health Center, Kim Moon-jung, Director of Seoul Southwest Workplace Mom Support Center, Kim Jin-sung, Director of Seoul Youth Center Geumcheon, and officials from the institutions attended.
The agreement includes cooperation on labor counseling and education for workers, various promotional support, information sharing for the protection and improvement of labor rights, and collaboration on projects supporting work and childcare together.
Additionally, on that day, each institution shared the goal of enhancing workers' rights and welfare and promised to link major projects to help the efficient operation of the Labor Comprehensive Support Center.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “Through this agreement, we will prevent the infringement of rights of vulnerable labor groups and foster a healthy labor culture,” adding, “We will promote various linked projects to provide practical help to local workers in the future.”
The Geumcheon-gu Labor Comprehensive Support Center was established in July as a complex space reflecting the needs of office workers and job-seeking youth concentrated in G-Valley, where labor counseling, human exchange, and rest are all possible.

The center provides various comprehensive labor welfare services such as labor education, labor counseling, and labor legal counseling targeting vulnerable workers, youth, and students, striving to improve workers' rights and interests.
