On the 21st, his agency YG Entertainment announced through Treasure's official Weverse channel, "We regret to inform you of the sad news that So Jeonghwan's father passed away on August 17."
The funeral was quietly held with condolences from relatives, acquaintances, and Treasure members at the request of So Jeonghwan and his family.
The agency asked, "Please offer your warm condolences and consideration so that So Jeonghwan can have time to mourn with his family for the time being."
