Suggestions for Expanding Support for Cooperatives to Revitalize Joint Projects of Small and Medium Enterprises
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 21st that it held the 'Policy Meeting with Small and Medium Business Owners Invited by Gwangju Mayor Kang Gi-jung' at Gwangju City Hall. This meeting was organized to help overcome the crisis faced by small and medium enterprises and small business owners in the Gwangju area, who are struggling due to interest rate hikes and domestic demand stagnation, and to promote the revitalization of joint projects among SMEs to restore regional economic vitality.
The small and medium business owners attending the meeting proposed regional issues such as ▲expanding support for cooperatives to activate joint projects among SMEs, ▲expanding support for building win-win smart factories between large and small businesses, ▲prompt promotion of the construction of a bypass road for the Monthly Comprehensive Distribution Complex, ▲prioritized purchase of local SME products, and ▲establishment of a payment linkage system for delivery payments.
