Jungnang-gu Begins 2024 Eulji Exercise... Full Effort to Strengthen National Emergency Response Capabilities
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) held the initial briefing session on the morning of the 19th at the Jungnang-gu Office Comprehensive Situation Room and began the Eulji Exercise to prepare for a full-scale national wartime situation.
The Eulji Exercise is an emergency preparedness drill designed to protect the lives and property of citizens in the event of a national emergency. It includes exercises on national crisis management, wartime transition procedures, and total national mobilization.
This year’s training will be conducted over four days and three nights from the 19th to the 22nd. During the initial briefing, the Eulji Exercise situation briefing document, key tasks of the exercise, and detailed exercise plans by schedule were shared.

Ryu Gyeong-gi, mayor of Jungnang-gu, who participated in the briefing, emphasized, “Considering the current severe security situation in our country, the importance of the Eulji Exercise is greater than ever,” and added, “Related organizations including civilian, government, military, police, and fire departments must establish an organic cooperation system to complete a comprehensive plan that can respond immediately to wartime situations.”
