This academy is a practical employment program jointly operated by the Next-Generation Communication Innovation Convergence University and the Korea Radio Promotion Association to cultivate talent in the relevant field. It was organized as part of the Advanced Field Innovation Convergence University project led by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.

The training was conducted at the Korea Radio Promotion Association’s IoT Technology Support Center in Songdo, targeting 21 students from the Next-Generation Communication Innovation Convergence University consortium (Kookmin University, University of Seoul, Ulsan College of Science, Chonnam National University, Korea Aerospace University). The education included hands-on training with measurement equipment, theoretical education on mobile communication technology, and actual field practice.

Participating students shared their feedback, saying, "It was very helpful to learn communication theories and concepts in a short period and to practice directly using observation instruments employed in the field." They added, "Especially, advice and practical experience from industry professionals strengthened our career direction and motivation."

A representative from Kookmin University’s Next-Generation Communication Project Group stated, "Through this training, we plan to provide information on job environments and physical access in the next-generation communication field to help students grow into well-prepared talents." They also said, "We will continue to build cooperation with the Korea Radio Promotion Association to develop this into a practical educational program that aids employment in the field."

Meanwhile, Kookmin University’s Next-Generation Communication Project Group signed a business agreement with the Korea Radio Promotion Association to mutually cooperate with the goal of nurturing talent in advanced fields, including next-generation communication. The project group plans to continuously expand cooperation with companies and public institutions to innovate education and activate specialized training in the next-generation communication field.
