Democratic Party Seoul Primary, Lee Jae-myung Wins Overwhelmingly with 92.4% · Jeong Bong-ju Falls to 6th in Supreme Council Election
In the Democratic Party of Korea's Seoul regional primary, party leader candidate Lee Jae-myung received over 90% support. In the Supreme Council member election, candidate Kim Min-seok took first place, while candidate Jeong Bong-ju fell to sixth place.
According to the results of the Seoul party members' online vote announced at the joint speech event held on the 17th at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul, candidate Lee Jae-myung secured 92.4%, taking first place. Candidate Kim Du-kwan received 6.3%, and candidate Kim Ji-soo received 1.3% respectively.
In the Supreme Council member election, candidate Kim Min-seok took first place with 20.9%. Following him were candidate Jeon Hyun-hee with 17.4% in second place, candidate Kim Byung-joo with 15.3% in third, candidate Han Jun-ho with 14.3% in fourth, and candidate Lee Eon-ju with 10.9% in fifth place. Candidate Jeong, who led early in the Supreme Council primary, dropped to 8.6% due to recent controversies. Candidate Min Hyung-bae recorded 7.5% in seventh place, and candidate Kang Seon-woo ranked eighth with 5.1%.
The overseas Korean party members' voting results were also announced. In the party leader primary, candidate Lee Jae-myung overwhelmingly took first place with 99.2%, followed by candidate Kim Du-kwan with 0.8% in second place.

In the Supreme Council member election, candidate Kim Min-seok ranked first with 21.3%, candidate Kim Byung-joo second with 16.9%, and candidate Jeon Hyun-hee third with 15.4%. They were followed by candidate Han Jun-ho (14.4%), candidate Lee Eon-ju (10.3%), candidate Jeong Bong-ju (9.9%), candidate Min Hyung-bae (8.6%), and candidate Kang Seon-woo (3.2%) in order.
