Jin Jong-oh Proposes Establishment of Youth Policy Committee as Government Ministry's First Bill
Jin Jong-oh, a member of the People Power Party, has introduced the amendment to the 'Youth Basic Act' to establish a 'Youth Policy Committee' within government central ministries as his first bill.
On the 16th, Representative Jin submitted the amendment to the Youth Basic Act to the National Assembly to ensure that the voices of the youth are reflected in policies. The amendment includes provisions to establish a 'Youth Policy Committee' in 19 central administrative ministries and appoint 15 members aged 19 to 34 to ensure that the opinions of the younger generation are incorporated into policies. The Youth Policy Coordination Committee under the Prime Minister's Office is tasked with enhancing the deliberation and coordination of youth policies, ultimately aiming to secure the effectiveness and development of youth policies.

To gather diverse opinions from the younger generation and to enhance the establishment and implementation of field-oriented policies, it is necessary to expand and systematize the channels, which is why I proposed this bill."
