The Daejeon Blues Creative Song Festival, held on the outdoor stage at Daejeon Station on the 15th, featured 74 teams from across the country competing on the theme of 'Daejeon'. After the first and second preliminary rounds, eight teams advanced to the finals and delivered passionate performances.
As a result of the judging, Kipro & Sujain, who performed 'Hanbatang (Hanbat Time)', received the grand prize, while the top excellence award went to 'Monopoly' for their performance of 'Nojam? Kkuljam!'. The excellence award was given to three teams: 'Bangguseok Promuse', 'Yesuldaero', and 'Yuwolui Eoneu Cheolmuljeom'.
The grand prize winner received 5 million KRW, the top excellence award 3 million KRW, and the excellence award 1 million KRW.
This year, the Daejeon Blues Song Festival saw even more talented musicians with unique styles from various regions participate and express the charm of Daejeon.
Yu Deukwon, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Daejeon City, stated, "Through the festival, many talented and outstanding musicians have been discovered, and it has become an opportunity to widely promote the charm of Daejeon," adding, "We ask for continued interest and participation so that Daejeon's music culture can grow even further."
