Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun Receives 1.43 Billion KRW Compensation from Mobis in First Half of Year
Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, received a compensation of 1.431 billion KRW from Hyundai Mobis in the first half of this year. Lee Gyuseok, who became CEO in the year-end personnel reshuffle last year, received 506 million KRW.

Chairman Chung holds positions as CEO of Hyundai Motor, a key affiliate, as an inside director of Kia, and as CEO of Hyundai Mobis. Regarding the salary, the company explained that it was paid in installments according to the salary table and wage determination standards considering job position, rank, length of service, company contribution, and talent development.

The amount received by CEO Lee was entirely in the form of salary, and no bonuses were reflected either. Former Executive Director Oh Heungseop received more than 1 billion KRW in severance pay, totaling 1.282 billion KRW in the first half of the year. He was the second highest paid inside the company after Chairman Chung for the first half of the year.
