NCSoft Holds Extraordinary General Meeting... Confirms Corporate Split and Establishment of New Company
NCSoft announced on the 14th that it held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and finalized the corporate split and establishment of new companies.
Earlier in June, NCSoft held a board meeting and decided on the corporate split and the establishment of two new companies. At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, the agenda item ‘Approval of the Split Plan’ was passed as originally proposed.
The new companies are two unlisted corporations: NCQA and NCIDS. They aim to launch on October 1.
NCQA is a company specializing in the quality assurance service business sector. Its business areas include ▲ software quality assurance services and other related businesses ▲ computer programming, system integration and management ▲ information technology and computer operation-related services.
NCIDS is a company specializing in the application software development and supply business sector. Its business areas include ▲ application software development and supply ▲ computer system integration consulting and construction ▲ system software development and supply.
Through this split, NCSoft plans to establish a management system that enables swift and specialized decision-making for each business sector and to promote strengthening of core competitiveness. The company aims to realize business advancement and ultimately focus on enhancing corporate value and shareholder value.
