Dankook University Receives 'Best' Rating in Annual Evaluation of University Innovation Support Project
High Praise for Expanded Major Selection for Freshmen and Establishment of Educational Innovation Platform

In this evaluation, Dankook University was highly rated for its flexible academic system for innovative education, expanding freshmen's options for choosing their majors and providing substantial career support, as well as establishing an educational innovation platform based on edutech.
Starting in 2025, Dankook University will introduce a non-major and broad-based admission system for freshmen and has established the Toegye and Yulgok Innovation Colleges to efficiently support this initiative. To expand students' choices of majors, the university has activated a multi-major system, including an increase in interdisciplinary courses. In addition, it has developed an educational support platform based on artificial intelligence and the metaverse to assist students in their studies and career planning.
Based on the evaluation results, Dankook University will receive additional incentives and be granted a project budget of approximately 13.2 billion KRW.
President Ahn Sooncheol stated, "Being selected as 'S Grade' in the educational innovation category is a recognition of Dankook University's achievements in implementing substantial interdisciplinary education," and added, "We will further accelerate the establishment of educational infrastructure to foster innovative interdisciplinary talents in the era of digital transformation."
