Kepem Gel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing 30 mg of ketoprofen as the main ingredient, effective for arthritis, muscle pain, and other conditions. It is an over-the-counter medication in gel form that is applied directly to the painful area, and it is the first OTC product in Korea to incorporate massage balls. After applying the gel to the affected area with the applicator, the medication is absorbed better and muscles are gently relaxed by rolling with the massage balls made of five stainless steel spheres.

Jongkundang explained that Kepem Gel prevents contamination by separating the gel dispensing area and the massage balls, and enhances consumer convenience by increasing the volume to 100g, about twice that of existing products.

A representative from Jongkundang said, “Kepem Gel is a product in the Kepem brand lineup with fast and powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It is the first OTC gel product in Korea to apply massage balls and improves the inconvenience of use found in existing gel patches, helping to relieve pain easily and conveniently.”
