KOSDAQ Plummets Over 8%... Exchange Activates Circuit Breaker
At around 1:56 PM on the 5th, the KOSDAQ index plummeted by more than 8%, triggering a circuit breaker.
According to the Korea Exchange, at 1:56 PM that day, the KOSDAQ index fell more than 8% compared to the previous trading day and continued for one minute, activating the first stage of the circuit breaker (CB). When the circuit breaker is triggered, trading is suspended for 20 minutes.

If the KOSDAQ index subsequently falls more than 15% compared to the previous closing index, and declines an additional 1% or more from the first stage activation index, trading in the KOSDAQ market will be suspended for 20 minutes.
