Daedong Hospital Holds 'Patient Safety and Infection Control Week' This Year
Daedong Hospital operated the '2024 Patient Safety and Infection Control Week' for five days starting from July 29, with the aim of contributing to the health of the local community as a hospital leading the way in patient safety and infection control practices.
This event, hosted by the Appropriateness Management Committee and the Infection Control Committee, is held annually to raise awareness about the importance of patient safety and infection control among staff, patients, and caregivers, thereby fostering a safe hospital environment. This year marks the 9th edition of the event.
Starting with the proclamation ceremony for Patient Safety and Infection Control Week, a variety of programs were held, including: ▲Patient Safety and Infection Control Grand Rounding ▲Patient Safety Campaign ▲Patient Safety Keeper Awards ▲Exhibition of Patient Safety Incident Reporting and Improvement Activities ▲Training for Response to Epidemic Infectious Diseases ▲QI Interim Report Meeting, and more.
In particular, the "4th Cycle Accreditation Standards, Ring the Golden Bell!" program received a great response. The Golden Bell event, aimed at strengthening staff awareness of patient safety and infection control as well as preparing for the upcoming 4th cycle medical institution accreditation assessment, featured questions based on the accreditation standards in OX, multiple-choice, and short-answer formats.
