Operation of 30 Public and Private Kindergartens in Education Development Special Zone
Development of Ulsan-style Kindergarten Curriculum Operation Model
Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsu) will operate 30 "leading kindergartens for the Ulsan-type Education Development Special Zone Early Childhood Education and Care Support Project" from September to December.
With the vision of "Dodam Dodam Ulsan Education, Dodam Dodam Ulsan Children," ten kindergartens will be selected and operated in each of three fields: "Ulsan Love Education," "Ecological Transition Education," and "Digital Literacy Education."
The Ulsan-type Education Development Special Zone Early Childhood Education and Care Support Project is a program that integrates the "Education Development Special Zone Project" and the "Community-Based Early Childhood Education and Care Innovation Support Project."
The Ulsan Office of Education is establishing cooperative relationships with local governments and regional universities to support the holistic development of young children in Ulsan and to strengthen the competitiveness of public education, thereby promoting a virtuous cycle of regional development.
To this end, leading kindergartens will be operated to discover and widely share educational methods that will advance kindergarten education in Ulsan with all kindergartens and daycare centers.
The Ulsan Office of Education will accept applications from public and private kindergartens in Ulsan until the 8th, and after a selection committee review, will designate the leading kindergartens next month.
In particular, starting this year and continuing until 2028, all kindergartens will be given the opportunity to participate as a leading kindergarten at least once.
