Daejeon Expands Rent Support Eligibility for Small Business Owners
Annual Sales from 30 Million to 50 Million Won... Up to 300,000 Won Support
Daejeon City announced that it will expand the eligibility criteria for its rent support program for small business owners from those with annual sales of up to 30 million KRW to those with up to 50 million KRW, and extend the application period from the 16th to the 26th.
The eligible recipients are small business owners who have been operating for more than six months and are paying monthly rent under a lease agreement. They can receive up to 300,000 KRW for rent paid between April and June of this year, prior to the announcement date.
Applications can be submitted online through the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency website until the 26th. If online application is difficult, applicants can visit the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency for guidance on how to apply online.
The city plans to review the eligibility of applicants and provide rent support in September, prioritizing small business owners with lower annual sales.
Kwon Kyungmin, Director of Economic Affairs for Daejeon City, said, "We hope that easing the rent support criteria will help more local small business owners reduce their operating costs and support their management."
