Song Su-young, CEO of Huons Global, to Personally Oversee Japanese Subsidiary Following Huons
Song Soo-young, CEO of Huons Global and Huons, will personally lead the Japanese subsidiary.
Huons Global announced on the 2nd that it has appointed CEO Song Soo-young as the representative of Huons Japan to officially enter the Japanese market in the second half of this year. CEO Song concurrently serves as the head of both the group holding company Huons Global and the core business company Huons, leading the innovation of the group’s management system and establishing a sustainable growth structure. He is credited with enhancing synergy among affiliates and contributing to the group’s leap forward as a global total healthcare company.
CEO Song joined Samsung Electronics in 1989 and subsequently worked at Japan’s software company SAP Japan, telecommunications company NTT, and management consulting firm PwC Japan. In 2009, he moved to Deloitte Consulting Japan and served as its CEO in 2018. He is said to have acquired expertise and experience in Japanese industry and culture through many years of experience.

Song Soo-young, the newly appointed CEO of Huons Japan, said, “We will accelerate the expansion of our business in Japan by effectively integrating the unique characteristics of Japanese culture and the pharmaceutical and beauty industries.” He added, “We will do our best to expand the group’s presence in the global market.” He further stated, “In the mid to long term, we will solidify Huons Group’s position in Japan and intensify efforts to expand into various new business areas in the Japanese healthcare market.”
