Guro-gu, Recruiting Students for Lifelong Learning Programs in the Second Half of 2024

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will begin accepting applications for 425 students on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9 a.m. on the 5th for the second half of the year lifelong learning programs.
The district operates a variety of unique lifelong learning programs to contribute to residents' self-development and improvement of quality of life.
The second half lifelong learning programs cover various fields such as humanities, finance, psychology, and health. Representative courses include ▲ Writing to Share Life ▲ Onbid Public Auction Cheaper than Auction ▲ Level 3 Color Psychology Counselor Qualification ▲ Protect Your Body’s Muscles! Balance Muscle-Tech Exercise Method, totaling 23 well-prepared courses.
In particular, the “Smartphone and Kiosk Usage Education to Make Daily Life Convenient” is expected to receive great response from seniors who feel difficulties in an environment where digital devices are increasingly introduced in daily life.
Eligible applicants are residents of Guro-gu or workers located in Guro-gu.
Applications can be made online through the Guro Lifelong Learning Center website or in person at the Guro-gu Office Education Support Division or Gaebong Lifelong Learning Center. Tuition fees are free or under 30,000 KRW. However, students must bear the cost of textbooks or materials.
