O Eonseok, Dobong District Mayor, Engages in 'Hip' Communication with Dobong SNS Crew
Dobong-gu Holds Meeting with Dobong SNS Crew... Open Communication Sharing First Half Activities and Supporting Second Half Activities Welcomed by All Crew Members
On January 26th, Oh Eon-seok, the mayor of Dobong-gu, met with the first cohort of Dobong SNS Crew members at Makers School Dobong on the first floor of the Dobong-gu Office. The meeting was held to review the activities of the first half of this year and to encourage future activities.
The meeting proceeded with the crew members presenting the main content they had produced over the past four months and sharing their impressions together.
Casual communication stood out. One crew member said, “It was difficult to recruit people while making YouTube videos. It would be easier if the mayor could appear next time.” Mayor Oh responded, “Sounds good. Call me anytime. I can do any kind of costume.”
After the meeting, individual interviews with the Dobong SNS Crew members took place. Mayor Oh personally introduced the Youth Employment Support Center and the Heat Relief Shelter located within the district office. The Dobong-gu landmarks covered by the crew members during their interviews are planned to be developed into content reflecting the unique personalities of the crew members.

Since starting activities on March 5th, the Dobong SNS Crew has been effectively informing residents about major news, landmarks, events, and festivals in Dobong-gu through fresh and unique content on personal blogs, Instagram, and YouTube. They deliver useful district news to residents, including introductions to spaces like Ssangmun Sports Complex and Jungnangcheon Hwangtotgil (Yellow Soil Trail), as well as beneficial programs such as youth financial and economic education, overseas internships, and support projects for single-person household living supplies. The total number of contents produced since the start of activities has reached 166.
