On the 2nd (KST), Biles scored a total of 59.131 points in the women's individual all-around final in artistic gymnastics held at the Bercy Arena in Paris, France, across four events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. She outpaced second-place Rebecca Andrade (Brazil, 57.932 points) by 1.199 points to claim the top spot on the podium.
Biles secured the individual all-around title following her victory in the team event, earning two gold medals at this competition.
Having previously swept four events?team, individual all-around, vault, and floor exercise?at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, Biles increased her total Olympic gold medal count to six. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she withdrew during the team competition and also forfeited participation in the individual all-around event.
Although she struggled only on the uneven bars, Biles received overwhelming scores in her main events, vault (15.766 points) and floor exercise (15.066 points), comfortably reclaiming the top position after eight years.
Biles aims to win additional gold medals in three of the four apparatus finals, excluding the uneven bars, challenging for a total of five gold medals at the Games.

On the 3rd at 11:20 PM KST, Biles will compete for the gold medal in the vault final against Andrade, South Korea's Yeo Seo-jeong (Jecheon City Hall), and North Korea's An Chang-ok.
