This event will serve as a platform to share trends in the overseas expansion of the traditional medicine industry and discuss strategies for global cooperation. The symposium will feature four sessions-overseas expansion of the traditional medicine industry, revitalization of Korean medicine ODA, strategies for Korean medical doctors to advance abroad, and strategies for attracting foreign patients-and will be conducted both online and offline.
Detailed information about the symposium, including speakers, topics, and registration for those wishing to participate, can be found on the official website, where free pre-registration is also available.
To raise interest in the globalization of Korean medicine and foster future talent, the symposium will recruit 30 student supporters from Korean medicine colleges nationwide, including graduate students.
The application period is from August 1 to August 11, and applications can be submitted online. All expenses, including airfare and accommodation, will be covered for participants, who will also have opportunities to interact with Korean medical doctors working at international organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Asian Development Bank.
