Kim Myung-su, chairman of the Gwangsan District Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, was elected as the 9th term second half chairman of the Regional Autonomous District Council Chairmen's Association.
Chairman Kim will represent the chairmen of the five autonomous district councils in the Gwangju area for the next two years, participating in the Korea Association of City, County, and District Council Chairmen, and will engage in various activities such as strengthening the status of basic councils and enhancing policy consultation functions for regional development.
