Oh Se-hoon Promotes 'Seoul Charm' in Beijing... Han River and Ramyeon Experience Booths Included
Promotion at Beijing Wukesong Wanda Department Store
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with citizens at Wukesong, known as a 'hot place' in Beijing, and directly promoted the charm of Seoul, including the Han River lifestyle.
Seoul City announced on the 1st that it held the Seoul promotional event 'SEOUL之樂 in BEIJING' at the central lobby on the 1st floor of the Wanda Department Store in Wukesong, Beijing, from the 30th to 31st of last month.

View original imageThis promotion featured themed booths where visitors could enjoy the characteristics of the city, such as Seoul's lifestyle centered around the Han River, Seoul's style, and Seoul's taste. In particular, the 'Lifestyle' booth was recreated as a Han River picnic zone. The Han River scenery was displayed on screens, and bean bags and books were provided to create an outdoor library atmosphere by the Han River. Programs to experience Han River sports such as cycling and rowing machines were also operated.
At this booth, the recently popular non-motorized treadmill walking challenge, the city's healthcare policy 'Wrist Doctor 9988,' and the Seoul Smart Life Week (SLW) expo scheduled for October were also introduced.
At the Seoul Style booth, domestic hair designers and makeup artists were invited to offer visitors the opportunity to experience trendy hair and makeup styles from Seoul. The most popular Seoul Taste booth featured exhibitions of export products 'Seoul Ramen' and 'Seoul Jjajang,' scheduled for release in October, along with various Korean food tasting events.
In addition to the promotional booths, K-pop cover dance, b-boy crew, and beatboxer collaboration performances were presented to citizens, showcasing the power of K-culture.
Mayor Oh also visited the promotion site at 5 p.m. local time the previous day to personally introduce the charm of Seoul to citizens and participate in various experiences. Mayor Oh said, "Seoul is a very attractive and hip city," adding, "Many things such as Seoul's beauty, fashion, and taste are waiting for you, so I hope you come to Seoul soon and enjoy Seoul's lifestyle."
