View original imageAccording to Samsung Electronics Newsroom on the 30th, Vice Chairman Han visited the Samsung Electronics factory located in Noida, India.
At the site, Han said, "India is one of the largest and fastest-growing markets worldwide," adding, "I am pleased that the Noida factory has grown into one of the largest facilities producing products not only for India but for the global market."
Samsung Electronics first entered India in 1995 and currently operates manufacturing plants in Noida near the capital New Delhi and Sriperumbudur. It also runs five local research and development (R&D) centers and one design center. Among these, the Noida factory produces smartphones, tablets, refrigerators, and more.
Vice Chairman Han also highly praised the India-based R&D teams contributing to the development of new products and services. He stated, "I am proud that many young and ambitious engineers, who play a crucial role in AI development, are working at the R&D centers in India."

Earlier, in March, Han toured the Samsung BKC store located in the upscale commercial district of Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, India. Samsung Electronics, which has operated premium experience spaces in major cities such as New York and London, opened its first experiential flagship store in India.
