Pyeongtaek City Signs Agreement... 13,878㎡ Secondary Battery Material Factory
Top Material, a secondary battery material parts manufacturing company, will invest 50 billion KRW to establish a new factory in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. Pyeongtaek City announced on the 30th that it signed an investment agreement with Top Material containing these details.

Top Material is a secondary battery material and system engineering company headquartered in Icheon. It produces high-performance electrodes and next-generation cathode materials.
According to the investment agreement, the company will invest approximately 50 billion KRW to build a factory with an area of 13,878㎡ in the Pyeongtaek Brain City General Industrial Complex, creating about 100 jobs. In addition to this investment, the company is also considering plans to further expand the factory in Brain City depending on business conditions.
The Brain City General Industrial Complex, where the factory will be located, is a large-scale industrial complex under development in the Doil and Jangan-dong areas of Pyeongtaek City, covering 4,821,430㎡. It is close to the Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus and is regarded as a highly attractive location for advanced material, parts, and equipment companies in semiconductors and secondary batteries. It is being developed as a complex industrial zone with industrial, research, residential, and cultural functions.
The city has actively engaged in corporate attraction activities to develop Brain City as a specialized industrial complex for next-generation industries such as semiconductors, hydrogen, and future vehicles.
