Shinhan SOL Travel Check Card Surpasses 1 Million Issued Cards
In Just 5 Months Since Launch...Usage Amount Exceeds 560 Billion Won
Shinhan Financial Group's overseas payment specialized card, the 'Shinhan SOL Travel Check Card,' has successfully surpassed 1 million issued cards, marking a hit.
According to Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card on the 30th, the Shinhan SOL Travel Check Card exceeded 1 million issued cards on the 25th. This achievement was reached just five months after the product launch.
According to both companies, the domestic and international usage amount of the Shinhan SOL Travel Check Card has exceeded 560 billion KRW. Shinhan explained that it has garnered customer satisfaction not only overseas but also domestically through various benefits and a convenient usage environment.
To commemorate surpassing 1 million cards issued, Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Card held a celebratory event the previous day at their headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. They invited the customer who received the 1 millionth card and the customer who won a 'Grandeur' in the ‘SOL.T.Ca-ro Running Special Trip’ event held in May to celebrate. At this event, Shinhan Bank presented the 1 millionth customer with round-trip airfare to Paris, France, where the 2024 Olympics are being held.
