'Saryuk, Sachil' Video Reaches 3 Million Views in 3 Weeks After Release
Content depicting Hyundai Motor Company's hydrogen electric bus supporting firefighters' rest and recovery at disaster sites surpassed 30 million views within three weeks of its release.
On the 30th, Hyundai Motor Company announced that the 'Saruk, Sachil' video content released on the Hyundai Motor Group YouTube channel recorded 30.55 million views as of 8 a.m. that day.
The 'Saruk, Sachil' video is structured as a letter of encouragement from a 33-year veteran firefighter to a junior firefighter. It emphasizes the importance of firefighter safety and rest while naturally conveying Hyundai Motor Group's donation of hydrogen electric buses to support firefighters' rest. 'Saruk' and 'Sachil' are firefighter radio communication terms meaning 'Do you understand?' and 'Understood,' respectively.
Along with the campaign video release, the 'Firefighter Snack Truck Delivery Event' was launched with a goal of delivering snack trucks upon reaching a total of 30,000 likes and comments, but the goal was exceeded by more than ten times. The video received over 340,000 likes and 2,650 comments.
Accordingly, Hyundai Motor Group conducted the snack truck event from the 24th to the 26th at the Incheon, Gangwon, and Jeju Fire Headquarters, which participated in the campaign video production, providing beverages, fruits, sandwiches, and more to about 500 firefighters.
Meanwhile, 30% of the viewers of this video were aged 25 to 34. By country, the audience was composed of 43% from Korea, 27% from the United States, 5% from Italy, 5% from Spain, 4% from France, and 3% from the United Kingdom.
