Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Supports Reemployment for Retiring Public Officials
Post-Retirement Life Planning and Employment Strategy Management
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced that from the 29th to the 1st of next month, it will conduct the "2024 Reemployment Support Service Training for Education Public Officials Scheduled for Retirement" at the Jeonnam Education Office Sports Education Center and Suncheon Bay Ecological Culture Education Center.
This program was established in 2021 to alleviate retirement anxiety among education public officials and support life planning after retirement. The service training targets education public officials scheduled to retire from September this year to 2025 and will be operated for a total of 16 hours through a specialized agency.
As a result of a satisfaction survey conducted last year with 125 training participants, satisfaction with the curriculum, training location, and instructors scored very high at 98 points.
The training content includes practical courses such as ▲life planning and employment strategies ▲health planning ▲financial planning preparation.

Han Jong-deok, Director of the Labor-Management Policy Division, stated, “We have prepared various training contents so that education public officials can prepare for a happy second life after retirement,” and added, “Based on the survey results, we will strive to operate the training more effectively in the future and provide opportunities for sharing among those scheduled for retirement.”
