View original imageShin Young-min, the current chairman (Local Education Administration Level 6), was elected as the chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Workplace Council.
The Workplace Council of the Provincial Office of Education is a statutory organization established in April 2005 under the "Act on the Establishment and Operation of Public Officials' Workplace Councils" and the "Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Workplace Council for Local Public Officials under the Gyeonggi Provincial Superintendent of Education."
The Workplace Council has mainly focused its activities on proposing policies aimed at improving working conditions and enhancing work efficiency.
Chairman Shin Young-min stated, "I will contemplate and communicate on what kind of environment allows general public officials, who play a crucial role in Gyeonggi education administration, to carry out smooth administration and how to create such an environment." He added, "I will strive to ensure that the strengths of general public officials, such as new ideas, challenging thinking, and technical capabilities, lead to the development of the organization," expressing his aspirations for reappointment.

Chairman Shin received awards for excellent public official proposals and the Public Official Proposal King in 2017 and 2020. Recently, he published Writing Reports for Public Officials (2024, Yeonamsa, 412 pages) to help public officials solve problems encountered in report writing and the planning, execution, and evaluation processes of administration.
