Chairman Cho: "We Will Open Hyosung's 100-Year Future in Vietnam"
Cho Hyun-joon, Chairman of Hyosung, visited the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul's Jongno-gu on the morning of the 26th to offer condolences for Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On the same day, Chairman Cho met with Nguyen Viet Anh, Deputy Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea, and officials from the Vietnamese embassy to express his condolences. Chairman Cho stated, "We pray for the eternal rest of the General Secretary, who devoted his life to the development of Vietnam, and Hyosung will also do its best for Vietnam's prosperity and future development."

View original imageChairman Cho has maintained a long-standing relationship, including meeting General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong during his visit to Korea in 2014, conveying his intention to contribute to Vietnam's economic development through close cooperation and continuous investment between Vietnam and Hyosung.
In June, Chairman Cho also paid a courtesy visit to Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during his visit to Korea, where they discussed mutual cooperation plans for future projects. At this meeting, Chairman Cho expressed his ambition, saying, "We will open the future of 100 years of Hyosung in Vietnam," and shared plans to expand investments in bio BDO (butanediol), IT, power equipment, advanced materials, and data centers.
Since entering Vietnam in 2008, Hyosung has invested approximately 3.5 billion USD to date, nurturing the country as a forward base to expand its global market dominance. The company has established its presence throughout Vietnam, including the Vietnam Corporation and Dong Nai Corporation near southern Ho Chi Minh City in the Dong Nai region, Vinachemical Corporation in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province in the south, Quang Nam Corporation in the central Da Nang region, and an ATM production base in Bac Ninh Province in the north.
