Gyeonggi Office of Education Confirms 23 Locations for August GED Exam
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has finalized and announced 23 locations as test sites for the "2024 2nd Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams" to be held on August 8.
The test sites include ▲8 schools in the Suwon test district ▲5 schools in the Yongin test district ▲4 schools in the Uijeongbu test district ▲3 schools in the Goyang test district ▲and 3 locations including juvenile detention centers and prisons.
The total number of examinees is 9,344, consisting of 611 elementary level, 1,707 middle level, and 7,026 high school level candidates. Examinees must bring their admission ticket and ID and be seated by 8:30 AM on the exam day. For some subjects, examinees may enter up to 10 minutes before the start of the respective subject.
Acceptable forms of ID include resident registration cards, youth IDs, passports containing resident registration numbers, and disability registration cards.
If an ID is lost, it can be replaced with a "Resident Registration Card (or Youth ID) Issuance Application Confirmation." If the admission ticket is lost, examinees can submit one photo identical to the one attached to their application form on the exam day to the exam headquarters to receive a reissued ticket.
On the exam day, vehicle access to the test sites will be restricted for safety management, so it is recommended to use public transportation. If it is unavoidable to travel by private car, it is necessary to check nearby parking locations in advance.
