View original imageDankook University Hospital announced on the 25th that it received the highest grade, Grade 1, in the 'ICU Adequacy Assessment' released by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
This assessment, following previous evaluations in 2014, 2017, and 2019, is the fourth of its kind and was conducted from January to March 2023, targeting ICU inpatients at 303 general hospitals and higher-level medical institutions nationwide.
As a result, Dankook University Hospital achieved perfect scores in all categories, including the number of ICU beds per dedicated specialist, the number of ICU beds per nurse, availability of specialized equipment and facilities in the ICU, infection control activities in the ICU, and ICU mortality rate.
In addition, the hospital received excellent scores in monitoring indicators such as the ICU readmission rate within 48 hours and in-hospital mortality rate.
Kim Jaeil, Director of Dankook University Hospital, said, "The outstanding results Dankook University Hospital has achieved in various assessments by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service are the result of the collective efforts of all staff members across the hospital's medical, nursing, and administrative departments."
