"Experience the World's Best Archery Assistance Technology" Hyundai Motor Prepares Hands-On Event
Hyundai Motor Group announced that it will hold an archery experience event at Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang for three weeks from the 26th to the 18th of next month. Hyundai Motor Group has supported Korean archery, including national representatives, for 40 years. This is the longest sponsorship period among single-sport organizations in Korea.
At the event, visitors can directly experience the equipment and techniques used by athletes during training. In a space that reproduces an actual stadium with a curved screen, participants can try archery and see various advanced equipment used in national team training. These devices, developed based on Hyundai Motor Group’s research and development technology, have been supported since international competitions in 2016.

It presents the process of a beginner becoming a national representative and participating in international competitions through different scenarios. Visitors can see a vision-based heart rate measurement device used for maintaining composure during training and an outdoor multi-camera system that helps perfect posture. Also on display are a personal training shooting robot that competed in an actual match with national team athletes, and customized 3D grips for former national representatives Kang Chae-young and Oh Jin-hyek.
To allow general visitors to enjoy archery safely and fun, beginner bows lighter than the national team bows are prepared. Visitors can apply on-site to participate in the experience.
