Uibyeong Museum Hosts Humanities Concert with Local Residents
August 13: "The 1% Eye for Masterpieces" ... August 20: "Seeking Wisdom in the Forest of Myths"
The Uiryeong County Uibyeong Museum in Gyeongnam announced on the 24th that it will hold the "Humanities Concert with Residents" on August 13 and 20.
This lecture series has been planned to provide local residents with a diverse and in-depth enhancement of their humanities knowledge by inviting renowned speakers.
On the 13th at 2:00 p.m., Professor Yang Jungmu of the Korea National University of Arts will present a lecture titled "The 1% Perspective on Masterpieces," exploring the dramatic destinies of masterpieces and offering new ways to view society through art. On the 20th at 7:30 p.m., Professor Kim Heon of Seoul National University will give a lecture titled "Seeking Wisdom in the Forest of Myths," taking the audience on a journey through the myths of ancient Greece and Rome.
Each lecture will accept up to 80 participants on a first-come, first-served basis via phone or in-person registration. The registration period is from the 29th of this month to the 2nd of next month. For more details, please refer to the announcements on the Uibyeong Museum website.
